Thomas Wendell Stuckey, age 72, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Community Hospice Center for Caring at St. Vincent’s Riverside. He was born in Thomasville, Georgia, on July 19, 1950, to Alfred and Eloise (Vann) Stuckey. Thomas had lived in Jacksonville for 40 years and proudly worked as a plumber for Able Plumbing before retiring after 33 years of service. A simple man, Thomas was a son, brother, uncle, and hard worker. You could always find him tinkering with his machinery, and he loved tending to his cats.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Stuckey. Survivors include his mother, Eloise Stuckey of Macclenny; sister, Belinda Green (Michael) of Glen St. Mary; nephew, Michael Green (Sarah) of Glen St. Mary; niece, April Dietz of Macclenny; and longtime dear friend, Ella Dreitzler of Jacksonville.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
