Tammy Lynn Sanders

Tammy Lynn Sanders, age 58, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville on November 5, 1964, to Aline Marie (Floyd) and Edward Arthur Butler and had lived in Baker County for the past 38 years. Tammy was a traditional wife, mother, and grandmother. She was sweet, kind hearted, and forgiving. If you were hungry, she fed you. If you were sick, she doctored you. Her passion was searching for treasures in flea markets and yard sales.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alford “Al” Butler; sisters, Francis Butler and Betty June Sheidt; and grandchildren, David Arnett Jr. and Joshua Gainey Jr. 
Survivors include her devoted husband of 36 years, Rex Allen Sanders of Macclenny; sons, Robert Sanders of Macclenny, Shawn Sanders (Chelsea) of Sanderson, Rickie Sanders (Amanda Hysler) of Macclenny, and Dalton Sanders of Sanderson; daughter, Kelly Sanders of Macclenny; grandchildren, Jonathan, Little Lela, Leanna, Gracelynn, Amelia, Isabella, Taylor, Jace, Jasper, Raylin, Ryder, Logan, Landon, Larissa, and Dani; siblings, Butch Butler, Margaret Stoller, Clara Gibson, Shirley Coggins, Clarence “Tuffy” Butler, Leslie “Lucky” Butler, and Theresa Mauldin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
