Mrs. Tammy Davis Collins, age 58, of St. George, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Mrs. Collins was born in Macclenny, Florida, on April 1, 1962, to Vernon Thomas and Ruby Lee (Lauramore) Davis. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Tammy had worked for Baker County Medical Services at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital in Housekeeping. She loved shopping, finding yard sales with her granddaughters, being with her family, and spoiling her grandbabies. Tammy was also a member of New Hope Church in Macclenny.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Collins; son, Zachary James Owens; brothers, Edward Davis and Randall Davis; and sister, Nancy Callendar. Tammy is survived by her son, James Collins (Brandy) of St. Augustine; daughter, Felecia Hodges (Steve) of Macclenny; brother, Donald Davis of Sanderson; sisters, Judy Ann Harvey of Sanderson, Annette Mash of Macclenny, and Wanda Bryant of Sanderson; grandchildren, Keltni Davis, Kaitlynn Davis, Lonna Hodges, Dorian Lee, Jamie Collins, Brody Collins, and Sara Minshew; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 1, 2020, at New Hope Church with Pastor Shane Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery.
