Roger Douglas Carlton

Mr. Roger Douglas Carlton, age 53, of Baldwin, Florida passed away tragically on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Doug was a lifelong native of Baldwin and the son of Curtis Wayne and Juanita Faye (Thomas) Carlton. He was a kind and loving father, brother, son, and friend who enjoyed eating, singing, and laughing with his family and friends. He also loved working at his own construction company - DRC Construction.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, Curtis W. Carlton in 2000. He is survived by his daughters, Lauren E. Carlton of Navarre, FL, Geneses Blazier, Serenetee Varnadore, and Faith Varnadore all of Baldwin, FL; sons, Christopher D. Carlton, and William Varnadore, both of Baldwin, FL; fiancé, April Brookins of Baldwin, FL; mother, Juanita Faye Carlton of Baldwin, FL; brothers, Dennis L. Carlton of Jacksonville, FL, David W. Carlton (Tara) of Albany, GA, and Jonathan "Danny" Carlton of Raiford, FL; and sister, Kayla Pollack (Michael) of Tampa, FL.  
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Doug's Life will immediately follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
