Paul "Bob" Pierson Obituary

Mr. Paul Robert Pierson Jr., age 76, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after an extended illness. He was born on July 29, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, to Paul Robert and Wanda (Baker) Pierson. Bob moved from Middelburg to Baker County in 2008 and was the co-owner of M&R Specialty Trailers and Trucks here in Macclenny. An Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne, he served during the Vietnam War. Bob was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who was also a passionate motorcycle and boating enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, David P. Pierson (Nodaysis) of Middleburg; daughter, Nicole Marcene Kirby (Billy) of Gulf Breeze; brothers, Larry Pierson (Denise) and Dennis Pierson, both of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Britney Pierson, Caleb Kirby, and Katelyn Kirby; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
