Odis Franklin Green

Odis Franklin Green, age 80, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the Community Hospice Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville. He was born on February 8, 1942, in Bryceville, Florida, to Inez (Conner) and Noah Sampson Green, and had been a resident of Baker County for the past 47 years. His loves were hunting, fishing, and his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Mr. Green left a wonderful treasure of memories for them.
Odis was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, John Green and James Clifton Green. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Daisy Mae Green of Glen St. Mary; son, Clay Green (Marci) of Sanderson; daughters, Tina Smith (Wally) and Tammy Hall (Marshall), both of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, April Crooks, Krista Trippett, Collyn Green, Conner Green, Carlie Green, Travis Hall, and Jesse Hall; great-grandchildren, Kyla Crooks, Karis Crooks, Doc Hall, Jaycee Hall, Kinsley Trippett, and Jaylee Trippett; along with other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Glen Friendship Tabernacle with Doctor Albert Starling officiating. Interment will follow in Conner-Green Cemetery in Hilliard. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
