Lois Yvonne Crews-Johnston

Lois Yvonne Crews-Johnston, age 53, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 5, 2021. She was born on January 17, 1968, in Jacksonville, to Brenda Y. (Griffin) and Jonath W. Crews. Lois had been living in Baker County for the past 30 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who enjoyed spending time spoiling her granddaughter.
Lois was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her sons, Joseph Wilton Crews and Travis Earl Johnston, both of St. George, Georgia; mother, Brenda Y. Crews of St. George, Georgia; sisters, Denise “Tinker” Crews of Tampa, and Jo Lynn Shay (Mike) of Glennville, Georgia; special granddaughter, Arrieanna Gracie Elaine Johnston; former husband, Timothy “Peanut” Johnston; Grandpa and Granny, Clarence and Elaine Jordan; along with numerous extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida, with Pastor Mary Ann Goodwyne officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel in Macclenny.
