Linda K. Johnson, age 67, a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 3, 2021. Mrs. Johnson was born to Raymond and Valerie (Fischer) Downey on January 7, 1954, in Alexandria, Virginia. She loved to garden, shop, cook, read and travel. She was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Jacksonville.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Marvin G. Johnson; daughters, Tina R. Mulder (Kelly) & Pamela Johnson; grandchildren, Danielle Crognale (Vincent) & Kyle Mulder (Leah); great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Tristian, Elijah & Eleanor; sister, Alice Ogletree (Archer); brothers-in-law, Robert Johnson (Rita) & Randy Johnson (Joann); sisters-in-law, Lydia & Margaret; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida with interment to follow in Sellers Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
