Linda Mrynell Barton

Mrs. Linda Mrynell Barton, age 62, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. Linda was born in Steinhatchee, Florida, to Louis and Betty Jo (White) Quiett and has lived in Baker County all her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking, and spoiling her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Quiett; sister, Roynell Combs; and two grandchildren, Brooklyn Barton, and Rory Reann Rowe. 
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 44 years, George C. Barton; sons, George C. Barton Jr. and Louis Barton; daughters, Cora Rowe (Shane) and Betty Horne (Clinton); brother, Robert Quiett (Donnah); sisters, Betty Johnson (Bruce), Teresa Brantley (Rod), and Lisa Darrell; grandchildren, Kimberly, Adam, Shelby, Chris, Thomas, Austin, George III, James, Kentleigh, Ava, and Braelynn; great-grandchildren, Chris and Rory; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Dr. Albert Starling officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
