Keith Allen Holmes, age 32, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away tragically on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was born on January 11, 1990, in Jacksonville, to Sandra Holmes and Michael T. Holmes Jr. Keith had been a resident of Baker County for 23 years before recently moving to the Lakeland area to start a family and further his career as a motorcycle technician with Brandon Harley Davidson in Tampa. He was a proud father, son, and brother who had an intense love for riding horses, motorcycles, and working on Harleys that he shared with his family and friends. He graduated from Baker County High School in 2010. Keith always tried to help others and those close to him knew that through his generous spirit and friendly openness, he secretly had a pair of wings beneath his shirt.
Survivors include his fiancé, Amber Colding of Bradley Junction; son, Keith A. “KJ” Holmes Jr.; daughter, Eleanor Colding; parents, Michael and Sandra Holmes of Glen St. Mary; brother, Kenny Holmes (Jessica) of Starke; nieces and nephew; Alana, Kai, and Leilani; along with numerous other family members, work family, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. A Gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
