Joshua Darren Smith

Joshua Darren Smith, age 29, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Shands UF Jacksonville. Josh was a caring husband, father, son, and brother. He was a hard worker with a spirit for travel and music. He was a 2009 graduate of Baldwin High School and was currently attending FSCJ for nursing. 
Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Andrea Smith of Jacksonville; daughter, Leighton of Jacksonville; parents, Melvin “Smitty” Smith and Pamela (Boatright) Smith of Macclenny; brother, Spencer Smith (Abigail) of Macclenny; grandmothers, Kay Boatright and Brenda Smith; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends. 
Funeral services for Joshua will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Baldwin, with Pastor Chris Drum and Pastor Ricky Baldwin officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.
