Mr. Johnny Jack Exline, age 66, of Maxville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was born on October 26, 1954, in Columbia, Louisiana, to John James and Hilda Marie (Carrol) Exline.
Jack was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He had been a longtime resident of Maxville and was an avid collector of junk. Jack enjoyed racing cars, and he was known in the racing community as X-69. He was a truck driver and loved Ford trucks, motorcycles, and Pepsi Cola. But most importantly, he loved his family and cherished his grandbabies. Jack was the backbone of his family. His passing has left an unfillable void.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; son, John “Jason” Edward Exline; and siblings, Danny “Mooney” Exline, Peg Exline, Pat Exline, and Lola Black. He is survived by his sons, Michael Exline of Maxville, and Matthew Peters (Catlin Kilgore) of Maxville; daughters, Jennifer Williams (Jerry) of Maxville and Christan Firlotte of Maxville; best friend, Pam Exline of Illinois; lifelong friend, Bob Victor of Maxville; brothers, Wendall James Exline (Debbie), C.M. B-Line Exline (Lou), Billy Zack Exline, Tommy Dale Exline, and Glen Sikes, all of Louisiana; sisters, Linda Diane Exline, Polly Exline, and Betty Knight, all of Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
