Jason Tyler Beard

Jason Tyler Beard, age 41, of Lake City, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Lake City Medical Center. He was born on September 27, 1980, in Lake City to James A. Beard Jr. and Judyann (Mann) Pearson. Tyler was raised in Baker County and was a 1999 graduate of Baker County High School. He then attended Lake City Community College where he received a certificate for EMT. In 2015 he obtained a BS Degree in Psychology at Saint Leo University. Tyler enjoyed being outdoors taking in the sunrise, kayaking the Sante Fe River, or just spending time with his close friends. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Florida State Seminole fan. Tyler loved spending time with his family and cherished his relationship with God.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Talmadge and Corine “Mema” Mann, and his paternal grandparents, James A. and Miriam W. Beard.
Survivors include his father, James A. Beard Jr. (Janice) of Macclenny; mother, Judyann Mann Pearson (Walter) of Ft. Myers; sister, Stephanie Beard (Mil) of Orange Park; niece, Stacie Moring of Gainesville; great-nephew, Tayten Tyler Robinson of Gainesville; and girlfriend, Alison Ratliff of Lake City; along with other family members and friends.
Tyler will be deeply missed and his love of life will be cherished forever. 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
