Jana Crews Jackson

Mrs. Jana Crews Jackson, age 58, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, after a long courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
She was born on January 20, 1963, in Ocala, Florida, to Jack and Shirley Crews. Jana has lived in Baker County for the past 31 years. She retired after a 30 year successful career with the State of Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in music, playing the piano, and singing. Jana loved tending her herb garden and showering her time and affection on her grandson, Jackson. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was a strong woman of faith. She touched many lives by witnessing for the Lord in song, testimonies, and always putting others before herself.
Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years, Jeffrey Jackson of Glen St. Mary; daughter, Jill Jackson (Carl Dunn) of Lake City; parents, Jack and Shirley Crews of Glen St. Mary; brother, Jerry Crews (Lena) of Palatka; grandson Jackson Price; niece, Jordan Crews; nephew, Jerrod Crews; special cousin, Wendell Crews (Ruthia); along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Ramondetta officiating. A private family committal service will be held later at Macedonia Cemetery.
