Henry Ottis Martin Sr.

Henry O. Martin Sr., age 99, of Jacksonville, Florida, went Home to be with The Lord on March 2, 2022. He was born in Pearson, Georgia, on April 26, 1922, to Worthy and Lossie (McKinnon) Martin. He served his country in the United States Navy. Henry lived in Jacksonville most of his life and was a Baptist minister and carpenter by trade. Over the years, he was involved in numerous ministries, including church planting and prison outreach. 
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Grace Martin, along with numerous other family and friends. 
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at West Jacksonville Baptist Church, 5643 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida with Pastor Rodney Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
