Ms. Helen Faye Nettles, age 63, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 2, 2020. She was born on November 15, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Eddie and Faye (Mann) Nettles.
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a lifelong resident of Baker County and was a 1974 graduate of Baker County High School. Helen worked as a Registered Nurse and had not long retired. She was a Christian woman who loved her family dearly, especially her grandbabies.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Glenn Nettles. She is survived by her sons, Chad Mallory of Starke, Jerod Mallory of Macclenny, Chance Mallory of Glen St. Mary, and Kody Kennedy of Macclenny; brother, James Nettles of Jacksonville; sister, Thelma Gail Muse (Keith) of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Hannah, Trenton, Blake, Kennedy, Kendell, and Kelton; along with numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Woods officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment at Manntown Cemetery will follow.
