Glenn Edward Deel, age 58, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Macclenny Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on July 9, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Lena Alberta (Willis) and James Howard Deel. Glenn had lived in Baker County for six years.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He always had to keep his hands busy. Glenn was an automobile mechanic and fabricated custom exhausts.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Ellen Kimberly (Pettibone) Deel of Sanderson; son, Brandon Deel of Jacksonville; daughters, Kayla Malphurs (Ricky) of Jacksonville, Melinda Picciuolo (Clint) of Jacksonville, Katherine Blevins (Levi) of Oak Hill, West Virginia; siblings, James "Jim" Deel of Moundsville, West Virginia, Elizabeth Deel of Nallen, West Virginia, Ramona Pimentel of Washington, Pennsylvania, Ernie Deel of Nallen, West Virginia, and Jody Stratton of Millville, New Jersey; grandchildren, Ricky Lee Malphurs, Rosemary Canupp and Florence Canupp; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends,
A Celebration of Glenn's Life will be held at a later date.
