Charlotte Faye Stafford

Charlotte Faye Stafford, age 78, of Cuyler, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born on July 9, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to George and Melinda (Gray) Corder.
A Baker County resident for the past 30 years, Charlotte was a giving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed sewing and birdwatching, and was an avid Detroit Red Wings Hockey fan. During her retirement, Mrs. Charlotte put her energies toward serving others and was a driver for Baker County Council on Aging and was voted Volunteer of the Year in 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Corder; son, Michael Stafford; and great-granddaughter, Ella Grace. Survivors include her devoted husband of 55 years, Paul Stafford of Cuyler; daughter, Melena Brown (Bud) of Romulus, Michigan; three brothers; six sisters; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; along with 22 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Douglas Allen officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-6:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
