Casey Luke Wilkerson, age 76, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Community Hospice Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville. He was born on October 4, 1946, in Key West, Florida, to Thelma C. (Hargroves) and Willie Wilkerson and had lived in Baker County all his life. Casey enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was generous with his time and dearly loved his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved good conversation and debating with friends, so much so that his father once jokingly referred to him as the lawyer.
Casey was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Willie F. “Tiney” Wilkerson. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth L. Wilkerson of Macclenny; son, Corey Wilkerson (Jaime) of Macclenny; daughter, Cynthia Burnett (David) of St. Helens, Oregon; grandchildren, Avery, Kyler, Dallin, Casey, Jefferson, Ava, and Leah; and brothers, Billy Wilkerson (Linda) and Ernie Wilkerson (Julie).
