Brittany Lea Grimes

Ms. Brittany Lea Grimes, age 32, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Brittany was born on March 8, 1989, in Jacksonville to Victor Grimes and Stacy Arnstein and had lived there most of her life. She was a sweet, fun loving young woman with a bubbly, outgoing attitude towards life. Brittany was a 2007 graduate of Hilliard High School. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend that enjoyed cheerleading, loved the Lord and her family. 
Brittany was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, David and Evelyn Rosenberg; grandfather, Elliot Arnstein; grandfather, John Gill; and stepfather, Charles Mills.
Survivors include her mother, Stacy Mills of Macclenny; father, Victor Grimes (Mary) of Hilliard; brothers, Cory Mills and Austin Mills of Macclenny, Josh Courchene of Hilliard, and Joseph Courchene of Jacksonville; maternal grandmothers, Susan Arnstein of Jacksonville and Deborah Arnstein of Atlanta, Georgia; paternal grandmother, Mary Ramsey (Curtis) of Gainesville paternal grandfather William Grimes of Yulee; along with numerous other family members and friends. 
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Josh Potts officiating. Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
