Bonnie Louise Padgett, age 80, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park. She was born in Maxville on February 3, 1942, to Sydney Lester and Linnie (Godwin) Harris and lived all of her life in Maxville. Mrs. Padgett was a generous, kind hearted woman who dedicated her life to two things. First was to the service of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Bonnie played piano for Long Branch Baptist Church. She loved her church and her church family. Second, she was dedicated to the loving care of her family.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joey Padgett; and her beloved husband, Joe Padgett. Survivors include her son, Darryl Padgett (Deborah); daughter-in-law, Rita Padgett; sister, Edith Padgett Stratton (George); grandchildren, Cookie Griffis (Wesley), Cricket Barton (J.R.), and Trina Carter; great-grandchildren, Jasmin and Zoey Barton; special nephews, Blayne, Bryson, and Brayden Horne; and special niece, Ericka Marie Horne.
Private family services were held. Mrs. Padgett was laid to rest next to her husband in Long Branch Cemetery.
