William "Keith" Walker, age 68, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Vernon D. and Willa Jean (Malone) Walker on October 24, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida. Keith had lived his whole life in Baker County and graduated from Baker County High School in 1972. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and retired in 1993 after 20 years of service. He then worked for the Department of Corrections for 18 years and retired again in 2011. Keith was a member of Dinkins New Congregational Methodist Church. He loved riding his motorcycle, going fishing, camping, Jeep riding, and boating. But most of all, he loved playing with his grandkids. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Penny Katsacos. He was a devoted husband to Karen "Denise" Walker for 30 years; loving father to Robert James Walker, Jeffrey Burnsed Jr., Jamie Lynn Thompson (Oliver), and Susan Denise Burnsed McRae (Todd); loyal brother to Vernon Daniel Walker Jr. (Charlotte), Edwin Kevin Walker, and Jean Marie Brazell (Mike); doting grandfather to Hayley McRae, Bayley McRae, Tyler Burnsed, Nadia Burnsed, Gabby Case, Ruthie Burnsed, Owen Thompson, and Dixieann Burnsed; super great-grandfather to Vernaee Givens and Raelynn Burnsed; along with being an awesome brother-in-law and uncle to many. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2023, at Dinkins Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Dinkins Church with Pastors Allen Crews and Sam Combs officiating. Interment in Cedar Creek Cemetery will follow.
