Wanda "Lil Bit" Jean Blackburn, age 66, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after a brief illness. A native of Baker County, she was born in Macclenny on October 9, 1956, to Clarice (Hodges) and J. R. Davis. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed fishing and spoiling her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wendell T. Davis, James "Pee Wee" Davis, and Gerald Davis; sons, Justin "Duke" Brogdon and Chancey T. Blackburn; and grandson, Justin Brogdon Jr. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Phillip W. Blackburn of Sanderson; sons, Michael Davis (Susan) of Sanderson, Randy Brogdon (Kelly) of Glen St. Mary, Johnny Ray Brogdon (Andrea); daughters, Leann Tomlinson (Wayne) of Sanderson, Sheree Brogdon of Macclenny; brothers, Ronnie Davis of Glen St. Mary, Larry Davis (Tammy) of Macclenny; sisters, Kathy "Sissy" Mette of Macclenny, Carol "Cootie" Simmons (Mack) of Sanderson, Jeannie Wheeler (Eddie), Darlene Johnson (Tommy), Robin Collins, all of Glen St. Mary; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Dr. Albert Starling officiating. Burial in North Prong Cemetery will follow.
