Vicki Roaldsen Poole, age 62, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Aspire Health Nursing and Rehabilitation after prolonged health issues. She was born in Jacksonville on May 21, 1962, to Alice Faye (Davis) and Roy Russell Roaldsen. Raised in Jacksonville and a 1980 graduate of Lee High School, she moved to Baker County in 2004. After her retirement from the Duval County Tax Collector's Office following 30 years of service in 2017, she returned to Jacksonville to care for her mother-in-law. Vicki enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow Girls, Eastern Star, and Daughters of the Nile. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Vicki impacted many lives with her caring disposition, sweet nature, and love. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her dedicated husband of 41 years, Brian Ray Poole of Jacksonville; daughters, Allysen Harris of Glen St. Mary, Jessica Willey (Joshua) of Jacksonville, and Samantha DeFee (Jacob) of Stafford, Virginia; brother, David Roaldsen of Jacksonville; sisters, Janet Rowe of Sanderson, Kelli Caldwell of Maxville, Randi Becerra of Orlando, and Debbie Pio (Scott) of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Theron, Tyson, Harlon, Jackson, Sebastian, Raylee, Theodore, and Rhiannon; niece, Lindsey; and nephews, Billy, Jamie, and Patrick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Cornerstone Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Eddy Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery in Sanderson. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
