Travis Blake Thomas Harris, age 36, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, after a brief illness. He was a very smart and genuine person. Travis always made you feel good about yourself and loved everyone. He loved his family and Target work family. Travis enjoyed learning, trying new things, and he loved playing video games. He was a big New England Patriots fan and an even bigger fan of Tom Brady who he considered the "GOAT" (Greatest Of All Time). Travis was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Karen Thomas-Kirkpatrick, and paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving father, Darnell F. "Buddy" Harris Jr. and mother, Nancy A. Harris; sister, Jeanean M. Harris Matthews (Charlie); nephew, Damien Hobson; niece, Ashley Matthews; along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. This world has lost a humble person with a big heart who was loved by many. A Celebration of Life for Travis will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rodney Norman officiating.
