Timothy "Bubba" Charles Leighton Jr., age 38, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville on Friday, April 16, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born on June 23, 1982, in Jacksonville to Timothy C. Leighton and Rose Anna May. Bubba was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing golf, pool, and horseshoes. Bubba loved his children and family with all his heart. His memory will live on with the ones who loved him. Bubba is survived by his father, Timothy C. Leighton Sr. of Jacksonville; mother, Rose Anna May of Maxville; children, Remington Gage Leighton and Jada Marie Leighton of Jacksonville; sisters, Katie Aline Combs, Ann Marie Merrett, and Amy Victoria Johnson, all of Jacksonville; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
