Thomas Edward McDonald, age 61, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was born in Macclenny on August 7, 1964, to Betty Jean (Raulerson) and Noel Lee McDonald. Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved fishing, the Florida Gators, and was a member of Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church. His true passion was taking care of his family and spoiling his grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Noel McDonald; stepfather, Simon Boyd; stepmother, Margaret McDonald; stepbrothers, Harlo Sullivan and Michael Sullivan; and canine companion, Sally Jane. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Kathy McDonald of Macclenny; daughters, Kaley Brantley (Brandon) and Maegan Harrington (Blake), both of Macclenny; mother, Betty Jean Boyd of Macclenny; brother, Dale McDonald (Rita) of Glen St. Mary; stepbrothers, Von Sullivan and Danny Sullivan (June); stepsister, Debra Taylor (Danny); grandchildren, Bowden, Reese, and Ruby; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church with Dr. Albert Starling officiating. Interment in Macedonia Cemetery will follow.
