Theron "TB" L. Wynne, age 88, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born to Eva Estes (Paul) and Arthur Robert Wynn in Cochran, Georgia. Theron joined the United States Air Force in 1953, where he obtained the National Defense Service Medal. During his time of service, he was a Firefighter while stationed in Seattle, Washington, and Denver, Colorado. In 1956, Theron was honorably discharged and began his lifelong career of civil service at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, as a custodian. Theron was a loved uncle and brother. He was an artist who enjoyed being creative and loved treasure hunting. He took any opportunity to have a cup of coffee with a friend. Theron was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Harvey "Buck" Wynn, Johnny Wiley Wynn, and Carlton Wynn; sisters, Geneva Mattox and Velma Weeks. He is survived by his sister, Alice Mae Rountree of Jacksonville; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane 2) located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
