Susie Yaun, age 66, of Mayo, Florida, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Macclenny to Joyce (Wilkerson) and Jodie M. Yaun. Susie, a kind mother and sister, had lived in Lafayette County for the past 25 years. She enjoyed riding in the car, seeing the sights and loved spending time with her family. Susie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Yaun. Survivors include her sons, Samuel Taylor and Bobby Lee; daughters, Myrtis Sue and Joyce Lee; brother, John Yaun of Mayo; sister, Tensy Robinson of Mayo; aunts, Vivian Crews (Raymond) and Wanda Prevatt (Larry), both of Macclenny and Ann Brown (Steve) of Lake Butler; uncle, Cecil Wilkerson (Shirley) of Macclenny; a host of nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephew that were like grandchildren, Selena, Landon, Hayley, and Arabeth. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
