Shirley O. Hart, age 92, a longtime resident of Macclenny, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026. She was born in Long Beach, California, on September 8, 1934, to Gertrude Isabel (Banford) and Dallas Delbert Thomas. 
Shirley was a charter member of First Church of the Nazarene. Her life was grounded in her faith in Jesus Christ, and she considered it her mission to share His love and message with everyone she met. Shirley retired after 30+ years serving as office manager at Stokes Gas and then at Sawyer Gas. After retiring, Shirley went back to work at the Macclenny Walmart for several years before officially hanging it up to take care of her grandson, Lil Frank full time. 
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 59 years, Daniel O. Hart; siblings, Don Thomas, Billie Cooke, and Thelma Hamilton; daughter, Donna Rades; daughter-in-law, Beth Hart; and grandson, Kodi Hanna. Survivors include her children, Daniel C. Hart of Griffin, Georgia, Cheryl Hart of Starke, Paul "James" Hart (Devin Lyons) of Ravenel, South Carolina, Christina Hart of Macclenny, and Lisa Hanna of Middleburg; grandchildren, Nicholas Oliver, Pamela Moore, Ashley Hart, Dylan Hanna, and Frank Hanna IV; great-grandchildren, Zavian Oliver, Tripp Oliver, Joshua Moore, Mia Oliver, Reid Oliver, and Kodi Hanna; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dan Todd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
