Sherman Dewain Kellison, age 53, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on August 5, 1971, to Ada Elizabeth (Del Toro) and Joe Dewain Kellison and lived in Jacksonville all his life. Sherman was a caring father, Pop Pop, son, brother, and uncle who enjoyed relaxing at home watching westerns, working on cars, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Sherman was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his two children, Dillan and Taylor Kellison; step-children, Neve and Olivia Kersten; girlfriend, Nina Kersten; mother, Ada E. Green; brothers, Doug Rawlinson and Ronnie Rawlinson; sisters, Vicky Kirchner and Sandy Freeman (Ben), all of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Kyra, Eric, and Annistyn; nephews, Joey, Michael, Dwayne, Brian, and Tito; nieces, Maria and Melissa; along with numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Brother Billy Bray officiating. A gathering with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the dedicated care of BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL & CREMATION, 380 N.
