Sheila Ann Webb, age 64, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born to Garnett Adams Webb and Alvin B. Webb on December 29, 1960, in Jenkins, Kentucky, but has lived in Florida for over forty years. Ms. Webb graduated from the University of Louisville in 1983 with a degree in Sociology. She was retired from the State of Florida, having spent the majority of her employment at the Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny. She also spent a great deal of her time helping troubled teens get their lives back on track. Sheila loved music and the arts. She had a lifelong love for animals, giving a home to many throughout the years. Maggie, her black lab, was her most beloved. Ms. Webb was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters, Rhonda Kurth and Theda Hall (Dean); nephews, Drew Hall (Whitney), Jordan Hall (Hannah), and Matthew Kurth (Kallie); niece, Andrea Carver (David); eight great-nephews; one great-niece; her aunt, Christine Altman; along with many other family and friends. Sheila will be laid to rest next to her father, Alvin B. Webb in Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville at a later date.
