Sharon Ann McCarthy Morgan, age 43, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away all too soon on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born in New York, New York, on November 7, 1979, to Barbara (Christofferson) and Robert McCarthy. Sharon was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who loved her family with all her heart. She loved going to the river and listening to music, especially Bruno Mars. She also enjoyed going out dancing and had a heart of gold. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara McCarthy. She is survived by her father, Robert "Bob" McCarthy of Hilliard; daughters, Ivy Morgan (David), Savannah Morgan, and Alexis Morgan, all of Macclenny; brother, Buddy McCarthy (Amanda Carver) of Callahan; sisters, Amy McCarthy of Hilliard and Carey Bray (Brandon) of Sanford; close friends, Paula Brittain and Angela Singletary; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
