Sharon Kay Burchfield-George, age 68, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on May 18, 1956, to Carolyn Fern (Connaster) and Charles William Burchfield and had lived in Baker County for the past 10 years. Sharon was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, and traveling, especially in the mountains. Her family was her greatest joy. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Denniston (Michael) of Tanner, Alabama; brothers, Roger Burchfield (Jenny) of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, and Charles W. Burchfield Jr. of Jacksonville; sister, Patricia Paxton of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Kadence and Brantley.
