Scott Spencer Belcher, age 56, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, went home on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born on November 7, 1967, in Fairborn, Ohio, to Rosemary (Wyatt) and Carl Vernon Belcher. The family moved to Green Cove Springs in 1978 to work at the shipyard and stayed. Growing up around water is where his love for the sea began. Scott enjoyed fishing (the old fashioned way) with a cane pole. He was a wonderful, kind, loving, smart, and very talented human being. Scott was a gifted artist as well. He loved anything Sci-Fi, computers, drawing, spending time with family, and pets. Scott loved animals, especially his cats, Sniffers, Silky, and Beautiful. He also adored his sister's chihuahua, Loki. He worked as a production worker at Corky Bell Seafood and Mayport Seafood before his early retirement. Scott is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Karl Stewart Belcher (Sheri Gain) of Glen St. Mary and Eric Vernon Belcher (Laura) of Macclenny; sister, Barbara Jo Belcher of Glen St. Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
