Mrs. Sandra Mae (Abernathy) Parsons passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by love, after a lengthy illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched many lives and will be forever in our hearts! Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Steve Parsons, with whom she shared 20 years of their lives together filled with cherished memories. Together they embraced life's joys and challenges with strength, humor, and unwavering devotion. Sandra was the proud mother of daughter, Kelly (David) Taylor; sons, Derek (Misty) Cole, Paul (Danielle) Parsons, and Zachary (Kristen) Parsons; doting grandmother to beloved grandchildren, Kyleigh and Ella Taylor, Christian Cole, Lincoln, Jasper and Lilly Parsons; and one great-grandson, Colton Smith. Each one brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her brothers, Curtis (Sandy) Abernathy and Paul (Mia) Abernathy, who shared a lifetime of memories, love, and laughter with. Sandra will be remembered for her kindness and ability to make everyone feel loved and seen. While her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, her love, strength, and legacy will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be forever missed.
