Sandra Lynn Holt Johns, age 58, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after a courageous, hard fought battle with cancer. She was born on January 7, 1965, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Sandra Joy (Powell) and Jerry Sylvester Holt. Sandra was an amazing, independent, tough as nails woman who enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses, and caring for her animals. She loved the water and spent plenty of time on her jet ski. When she had a chance to travel, a cruise was the way to go. Her family played a large role as well. Sandra drove dump trucks for a living, but her favorite job was being a devoted mother and grandmother. Sandra was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her son, Jason Leonard Johns of Macclenny; daughter, Samantha Lynn Dobbins (Jimmy) of Chatsworth, Georgia; mother, Sandra J. Holt of Oak Park, Georgia; brothers, Jerry S. Holt Jr. of Ferguson, Texas, and Wade A. Holt of Jacksonville; sister, Janet Renee Holt of Oak Park, Georgia; grandchildren, Bristol, Levi, and Isaiah; along with other family members and beloved friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Geneva Rogers officiating.
