Samuel Scott Midyette, age 54, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1967, in Jacksonville to Samuel and Kosanda (Christinsen) Midyette. Samuel was a loving son, nephew, cousin, and friend who loved dirt track racing and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kosanda Midyette. Survivors include his father, Samuel Midyette, and his stepmother, Josie Midyette; as well as several other family members. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Deese Cemetery in Jacksonville with Pastor Freddie Griffis officiating.
