Roxann Marie Davis, age 61, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1963, in El Cajon, California, to Norma Lee (Barney) and Julius Davis and had lived in Baker County all her life. Gardening and crocheting were just a hint of the talent that Roxann possessed. She had a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and was a few hours away from completing her Master's in Education. Roxann's desire to finish was strong before sickness cut those dreams short. A wonderful mother and grandmother, her family is heartbroken by her passing. Not only because of who she was in their lives but also the loss of who she was becoming and the gifts she still had to share with the world. Roxann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Daniel Harrison. Survivors include her sons, Matthew Tyler Russell of Vero Beach and Jude Averam Buckminister of Macclenny; daughters, Amy Lee Oswald (Brandon) of Jacksonville Beach and Melissa Sue Crawford (Tommy) of Macclenny; and grandchildren, Ada, Caleb, and Ruth. A Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Shultz officiating.
