Ronald "Ronnie" Owen Tyson, age 75, a lifelong resident of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the VA Hospital in Lake City. He was born in Macclenny on October 12, 1950, to Loretha (Stokes) and William Oliver Tyson. A loving and devoted brother and uncle, Ronnie served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, John C. Tyson Sr. (Hazel) of Glen St. Mary; sister, Retha T. Tatum of Macclenny; special cousins, Randy and Joann Powell of Cuyler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
