It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronnie Lawson, who left us on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on June 16, 1961, Ronnie was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. Ronnie had a passion for building things with wood, a skill that showcased his creativity and dedication. He was known for his kind heart and the love he shared for his family and dogs. His warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Ronnie is preceded in death by his cherished brother, Marvin Lawson. He is survived by his son, Ronnie Lawson, and two grandsons, Ronnie Lawson Jr. and Rilen Lawson, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Susie Matthews, Betty Ann Branch, Debbie James, Paul Lawson, and George Lawson; niece, Melissa Branch; great-niece, Christina Branch; nephews, Payton, Jayden, and Brayden Matthews; and daughter-in-law, Samantha Lawson, who holds a special place in the family that he loved dearly. A Celebration of Ronnie's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Raiford Road Church, 9201 FL-121 in Macclenny with Pastor Eddie Griffis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to GoFundMe "Help us honor Ronnie Lawson."
