Robert "Bob" Marshall Cisko, age 76, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, with his beloved family by his side. He was born on February 22, 1948, in Irvington, New Jersey, to Audrey Jean (Baker) and William Frederick Cisko. Bob moved to Maxville from Jacksonville 44 years ago after marrying the love of his life. A devoted husband, father, and "Poppy" as a grandfather and great-grandfather, Bob was also a die hard Gator fan and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a police officer with Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and Clay County Sheriff's Office, as well as civil service with NADEP. Bob was a God fearing Christian that knew where he would spend eternity. He was a faithful member of Long Branch Baptist Church, served as a Deacon for 10 years, and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a very talented artist, with a passion for wood carving and painting. He also loved spending time with his wife and his family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Cisko. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Peggy Cisko of Maxville; daughters, Missi Hendricks (Jeff) of Maxville and Kelly Mapes (Scott) of Gulf Breeze; grandchildren, Laura (Travis), Kyle (Cierra), Lucas, Kahli, Jesse (Mary Grace), and Jack; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Mason, Melanie, Willow, Trevor, Reed, and Julianne; sister-in-law, JoAnn Cisko; many nieces and nephews; along with numerous friends and church family. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Long Branch Baptist Church in Maxville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the church with Pastor Harry Conaway officiating. Interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery.
