IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Lee Phillips Sr.
December 3, 1958 – November 22, 2025
Robert "Bob" Lee Phillips Sr., age 66, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, formerly of Lake Milton, Ohio, entered the golden gates of Heaven on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Orange Park Medical Center. Born December 3, 1958, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Bob lived a life defined by hard work, creativity, humor, and a deeply generous heart. A lifelong blue-collar worker, Bob took pride in building things with his hands, working on cars, and running a lawn care business for many years. He was endlessly creative and enjoyed drawing, playing bingo, and finding joy in life's simple pleasures. Those who knew him remember not only his big heart, one that often gave more than he had, but also his ability to find humor in all things. His jokes, laughter, and wit brought light to every room, and his sense of humor will be dearly missed. Bob was especially proud of his many years of sobriety. As a dedicated and active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, he rarely missed a meeting and never hesitated to support others walking the same path. His commitment, compassion, and honesty touched countless lives within the recovery community. Bob was preceded in death by his longtime partner and best friend, Joyce; his son, Christopher Phillips; his sister, Shirley White; and his parents, William and Twila Phillips. He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Robert) Martin of Glen St. Mary, Florida, and Katherine (Stephen) Reibold of North Jackson, Ohio; his sons, James Phillips of Orlando, Florida, and Robert Phillips Jr. of Grove City, Pennsylvania; and 14 grandchildren who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his siblings, William (Brenda) Phillips of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Dawn Frishkorn of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, and Dori Tutenberg of New Castle, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be mailed to The Hope Center of Baker County at 300 E. Macclenny Avenue, Macclenny, Florida 32063, an organization that reflects Bob's lifelong belief in helping others find strength, hope, and support. Bob will be remembered for his kindness, creativity, humor, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the dedicated care of BLACKBURN-CURRY FUNERAL AND CREMATION, 380 N. Lowder Street, Macclenny, Florida 32063. (904) 259-2806.
