Ricky Thomas Wilkerson, age 65, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident. He was born in Macclenny on December 20, 1958, to Maggie Lee (Floyd) and Thomas James Wilkerson. Ricky was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. A kind man with a wonderful sense of humor, he loved tinkering with things and being a mechanic. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Albert, Robert, David, Maxie, Donald, Mitchell, and Mark. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Joyce; daughter, Tara Pilkinton (Michael) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; brothers, James Wilkerson (Gail)  of Glen St. Mary and Danny Wilkerson (Connie) of Macclenny; sisters, Judy Harris of Macclenny, Paulette Darcangelo of Fleming Island, and Brenda Thomas (Tony) of Maxville; and granddaughter, Alana Pilkinton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kyle Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
