Richard Leon Lyles, age 68, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at his home under the care of Heartland Hospice. He was born in Jacksonville on April 16, 1957, to Dorothy (Jordan) and Albert Lyles. Richard was a caring father and grandfather. He had a good heart and a kind soul. Richard worked hard to take care of his family and had an amazing sense of humor. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Alfred A. Lyles, Randy E. Lyles, Ronald Lyles, Jo Ann Lyles, Elaine Stanley, and Sharon Lyles. Survivors include his son, Ricky Averett of Deland; daughters, Kim Love of Macclenny and Heather Jordan of Jacksonville; sisters, Janelle Stansbury and Rhonda Lyles, both of Jacksonville; and grandchildren, Allysa, Samantha, Coby, Seirra, and Cameron.
