Richard "Ricky" Lee Emery, age 61, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, Georgia, after a short illness. He was born in Lake Park on June 16, 1962, to Janice Latrelle (Duke) and Buddy "Pop" Emery. Ricky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He worked in construction for most of his life and had a passion for it. Ricky enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nancy Tustin. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Emery of Lake Park, Georgia; son, Patrick Emery (Ashley) of Lake City, Florida; brother, Aaron Emery (Tammy) of Ray City, Georgia; and granddaughter, Jayde Kathryn.
