Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" E. Hodges, age 72, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at W. Frank Wells Nursing Home in Macclenny after a lengthy illness. She was born in Albany, Georgia, on December 9, 1952, to Hattie (Williams) and Pete "PeeWee" Edge. Mrs. Hodges has been a resident of Baker County for 45 years. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Becky was a devout Christian and a member of Road to Calvary Church. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to caring for her beloved family, pets, and farm animals. Becky loved Jesus and enjoyed going fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael "Brian" Hodges; and sister, Ruth "Tiger" Hill. Survivors include her soulmate and husband of 46 years, Billy R. Hodges of Macclenny; son, Billy R. Hodges Jr. (Tricia) of Sanderson; brother, Daniel P. Edge of Callahan; sister, Juanita Benton (Randall) of Sanderson; grandson, Waylon Michael Hodges; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members, and church family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Road to Calvary Church with Pastor Tommy Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
