Randy Garland Thomas, age 64, of Maxville, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Orange Park Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Jacksonville on February 15, 1959, to Bobbie Sue (Ernest) and Homer Thomas and had lived in Maxville all of his life. He was a caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and working on cars. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Randy G. Thomas Jr. Survivors include the mother of his children and his best friend Peggy O'Neill; son, Justin Lee Thomas of Macclenny; daughters, Chastina Worsham (Charlie) of Macclenny and Jessalyn Ayers (Josh) of Lake Butler; grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, Destiny, Chloe, Clayton, Kylie, Ella, Maddison, Taylor, Leah, Landen, Emery, Carsen, and Maggie; and great-grandchildren, Stella and Lizzy. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Maxville with Pastor Gene Dillon officiating.
