Obituary

Randell Gene Davis, age 65, of Starke, Florida, passed away peacefully in Glen St. Mary, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Mr. Davis was born in Macclenny, Florida, on May 28, 1954, to Vernon Thomas and Ruby Lee (Lauramore) Davis. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Randell made a living working as a farmhand and loved being with his family, especially his grandbabies. He was also a member of New Hope Church in Macclenny. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward; sister, Nancy; grandson, Benjamin Jr.; granddaughter, Rylee Angelo. He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Rebecca Kaye Davis of Starke; sons, Randell Davis Jr., Jason Lamar Davis, and Thomas Edward Davis; daughters, Valerie Wilkerson, Hillary Shiloh, and Layla Davis; brother, Donald Davis; sisters, Judy Ann Harvey, Annette Mash, Wanda Bryant, and Tammy Collins; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020, at New Hope Church with Pastor J.C. Lauramore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery.
