Peter P. Genovese, age 81, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, after a long illness. Pete was born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was a professional boxer before he served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy. His lifetime career was as an electrician until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, the Chicago Cubs, beers, and his "snoose." Peter is survived by the love of his life, Joyce; his children, Paul ( Mary), Teri Shafer, Debbie Sears (Larry), and Anthony (Nicole); 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
